The Polish Social Psychological Society is looking for someone to present the research findings of PSPS members (and beyond) to a broader audience. Articles will be published on the PSPS website, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter) of the Scoiety. We want the voice of the Society to resonate not only through official letters and statements.

The collaboration would involve:

Writing articles discussing specific research findings or review pieces of around 500–1000 words, depending on the topic (+ adding a photo or other graphic material available under a CC license).
Emphasis will be placed on discussing the research of PSPS members (which we hope will motivate all of us to share information about newly published articles) and describing mechanisms that can help the public better understand socially important issues.
The person in the role of Chief Science Communicator will also be responsible (after training) for managing our website and social media, posting approved articles there.
We offer a rate of 250 PLN per article and 25 PLN per social media post (for both Facebook and X combined). We expect regular publication of about 2 articles based on scientific research and 2 posts of another nature (e.g., sharing information about conferences or job opportunities for researchers) per month. Posts will be made in both Polish and English.
We invite candidates who are fluent in English to apply. Details will be outlined in the contract.
