We have just concluded the jubilee 20th Conference of the Polish Social Psychological Society in Warsaw, organized jointly by Vizja University, the Maria Grzegorzewska University (Academy of Special Education), and the Institute of Psychology of the Polish Academy of Sciences!

For three days, nearly 300 participants from Poland and abroad took part in the conference. The meeting was filled with inspiring lectures, lively discussions, and the exchange of experiences and ideas.

The program included:

  • 3 plenary lectures,
  • 2 panel discussions,
  • 20 symposia and 16 thematic sessions,
  • blitz and poster sessions.

In total, almost 220 presentations were delivered, with 46% in Polish and 54% in English.

During the Conference, awards were also presented:

  • The Robert Zajonc and Solomon Asch Award – Dr. Karolina Dyduch-Hazar (University of Würzburg)
  • Awards for Outstanding Women in Science – Prof. Maria Lewicka (Nicolaus Copernicus University) and Dr. habil. Katarzyna Jaśko, Prof. of Jagiellonian University

Best poster:

  • 1st place – team from SWPS University and University of Gdańsk (Małgorzata Grześkiewicz et al.)
  • 2nd place – Paulina Puczek, Wiktor Belicki, Konrad Bocian (SWPS University)
  • Honorable mentions – Oliwia Maciantowicz et al. and Nicole Drolsum et al.

Best presentation:

  • 1st place – team from SWPS University and New York University (Ewa Podulka et al.)
